For some insight I’m a 26 year old female. I had my fair share of OLD since I was 19. It was a horrible experience every time. I would consider myself decent looking but not a model or anything. But everywhere I go and online I get hit on and or stalked. I feel like I am not respected anywhere I go as a woman. The men I speak to never take me seriously due to my age and the only fact of me being a woman. I sometimes wonder if I would be at all respected if I was a man. I see the difference in the way a man will treat another man vs me. It’s such a big difference. men want to say “well don’t you like the attention”? no I don’t. I’m ready to not have any attention at all. For the first time in my life I am ready and happy to start aging. I am ready to be under the radar from some creeps. I used to think older men were more mature, but they aren’t. That’s what I’ve found. I’m hoping as I age I will be left alone more. All I really have wanted is that and respect.

When you age, you do get left alone more, it's nice. You can still have sex with a man anytime you want, but the catcalls and sexual harassment die down, and people are able to see your personality instead of just viewing you as a "thing" to be used for sex/ego boost, dismissed or hated on.
I never bought that idea that older women are invisible when it comes to physical/sexual attraction. Well at least it doesn't apply to black women. My mom is 50 and she gets hit on all the time. I honestly feel like when you get older and still look attractive, you get hit on by younger men. You'll be invisible to old ass men, they're too busy trying to talk to women their daughter's age.
I understand how you feel! I’m 27 and have had men creeping on me since I was about 10. It’s sad to say, but sometimes I look forward to getting old enough that I’m “invisible”.
There are men who will always rape any woman. Not all men, but all women are targets. Men rape elderly women, men rape women in burqas, men rape 4 month old girls(I suggest not looking this one up).
