There are of course various iterations of this, e.g., go with your gut feeling. Time and time again throughout life as women, we're told to ignore our gut feelings and this is often to our detriment.
As someone who is more of a thinker than a feeler, it has taken me a long time to come to accept and appreciate my feelings.
Your feelings matter. They are so often signposts for when something isn't truly aligned with what you want, need, or should be tolerating. It's your choice to validate them and I've never met a woman who doesn't question hers anyway.
But are your feelings actually serving you here? Should you in fact be listening to them? It's you who has to live with yourself at the end of the day.
For people interested in improving their gut feeling, look up thin slicing, which is the scientific theory for instinct. Improving instincts mostly involves yoga and living in the moment. Im happy to make a post if anyone wants it fully explained. This is such an important topic! Thank you for bringing it up OP
Thank you for the reminder.
