I rewatched the original Top Gun and Maverick is such a scrote. Hitting on Charlie (Kelly McGillis) at the bar, not taking no for an answer and following her into the bathroom (no boundaries). Then when she asks him out for dinner (why?!) he shows up dirty from volleyball, late, and asks to take a shower. Most of their “relationship” is her emotionally supporting him and coddling his ego.
Anyone got movie recommendations for something more centered with FDS values?
Top Gun is so trashy. A guy I was dating recommended we watch it together and I hated it. I still have a bad taste in my mouth thinking about that guy lol I think a good FDS movie is He's Just Not That Into You (2009). That movie has so much power. It's unapologetically written and it hurts my feelings a little every time I watch it.
