Hello Queens!!!
Welcome to Week 8 of levelling it up!! 🙌🏾 As always thank you to Astria for pinning these posts ☺️. It is such a pleasure to have this space and group to hold each other accountable!
For anyone not familiar or needs a refresher below are the ground rules of the thread.
This is a non-judgement free space. We want ppl to feel comfortable sharing what goals they are working on. If commenter feels that a goal someone is working on is too big please provide constructive feedback (no shaming) on how they can improve their goal
Please start a new comment when posting your goal and then ppl reply on to that persons goal. It makes it easier to be able to track it
A new thread will be posted every Monday morning and another new post on Sunday will be “reflections of the past week” where we will discuss the wins, challenges and action plans for Monday. So feel free to comment anytime throughout the week.
Goals can be in any area of your life that you’re wanting to level up. Some examples are health/wellness, career, school, friendships, hobbies etc
Comment down below your new and/or updated goals ☺️
Lovely to have this space, thanks Runner_Woman! It's my first time commenting and here are my goals:
Clean up the house and dog :)
Take care of my body with daily yoga and at least 3l or water
Send 10 emails regarding PhD hunting!
Hey, beautifuls!
My goals for this week:
Cook a simple, healthy meal every day
20-30 minutes of strength training at least 3 times a week
Eye breaks every 20 minute of work (I'm so terrible at this!)
Experiment with 4-day work week
Set a budget every month
And my favorite, outline my novel (I haven't been writing for myself for the past five years and I want to change that)
Have fun with your goals!
Hey ladies this week I want to focus on preventing burnout and taking from @Queen above for sustainable happenings while I’m on my pediatric placement. Below is just a list for me to refer back to get done 1. Meal prep breakfast for the remainder of the week (Tues-Friday)- will only have to warm up food 2. Make 2 portions of meals at dinner (use left overs for lunch to save money and time to cook) 3. Pack healthy lunch and snacks night before 4. Go to bed by 11pm at the latest 5. Write in prayer journal 6. Read a non academic (a fun book) on weekday evenings 7. Spend time doing my self-care at nights to help unwind 8. Reach out to mentor for resume support (completed) 9. Book appt with career advisor 10. Call delivery for afresh difficulty ordering dress for gala event 11. Reserve morning to do clinical readings and prep for patients 12. Allocate this week 2 mini Zumba sessions 13. Go on a fun outing with friends or family on the weekend
Hi Queens! I'm a little late to the party. This is my first time participating in this thread.
I'm leaving a decade long physically abusive marriage. So I'm focused on the foundational aspects of leveling up!
Here are my goals for this week:
Relationship: Keep pushing through divorce process. Create/finish two spreadsheets with my evidence/information for upcoming court dates. Read one book about divorcing an abuser.
Education: Order supplies needed to start college in the fall. Get ahead of the game by beginning to practice for my first evaluations/tests. Practice for one hour daily.
Body: Meditate at least 3 times this week. Continue walking at least an hour daily. Resume tracking meals daily.
Self care: Make appointment to get a manicure. Moisturize daily. Indulge in decadent dessert at least twice this week.
Friendships: Reach out to at least 4 friends and catch up. Schedule at least one friend date.
Hiyas, Main thing I'm focusing on is that I am in the middle of a challenge for work/my biz. It's technically a 10 day challenge but with prep time and post challenge stuff it will likely work out to be 4-5/6 weeks in total. FOCUS is ON. And I'm making it a professional imperative to do this big thing and take impeccable care of myself throughout! So no burn out and only sustainable happenings. :) Happy musings, all x
Hey, Queens! I always forget to come back and update so, my first goal is to post a follow up on Sunday lol
Other goals
-Print photos and frame them for my coworkers. I found a funny photo online that's been a cute running inside joke between us.
-Take product photos for my small business & update my website; social media comes after that.
-Review progress on a project that I'm doing at my actual salaried job and prepare results to present at a meeting next week. I'm measuring patient engagement with our EHR system and I need to see if my strategies are working.
