This is a dedicated post each week reflecting on how our last week goals went.
Please feel to talk about the following:
Reflect on how it went with working on your goals this week
Your “win” for the week
Your “speed bump/challenge” this past week (relating to goal or not)
Strategy(s) to address challenges/goal
Stay tuned for tomorrow (Mondays) post where we can list our updated/new goals for the week ☺️
Happy Sunday ladies!! 😊 1. So my goals this week we’re mainly focused on school and my personal health. Overall I am happy that I have completed all of my assignments (however still working on clinical paper 😬). I bought healthy groceries this week and started a new eating habits where I feel like I have more energy (eating more protein in my meals). 2. My win for the week was leading the last clinical case for my class. I felt very confident and excited to talk about the case and my classmates and instructor left those as comments. My instructor said that I have “natural leadership skills” and to really showcase that entering into practice 🥰🥰 3. My speed bump this week is getting nervous with all of the informational Interviews that I have to start hustling and booking. I’d love to hear everyone’s advice with how to navigate that!
Happy Sunday Queen! 1. That's so awesome that your goals are so balanced. Not just about career but also about self care health wise. Way to go to level up sustainably! 💪 2. Of course you have natural leadership qualities! This leveling up posts that you are posting are amazing! They kept me motivated to create a new account (with all safety precautions) so that I could post here. And I'm sure that many women here who is posting/lurking on your posts appreciate your leadership! I'm glad that your instructor noticed this quality of yours too. 4. I don't know a first thing about your speed bump. Could it be helpful to Google or search on YouTube "how to" do this activity you need to do, or its components/steps, similar activities using more general turns (so you'd get more search results)? When I'm nervous I "over prepare" and it often helps. I write down what to say before phonecalls, meetings. Ask myself why exactly am I anxtious. Sometimes it is something about past negative experiences. So I remind myself that I am more experienced/smarter/wiser/more skillful/resilient now. Sometimes the anxiety is a result of some legitimate concerns like need for more info, time, change of strategy etc. Good luck , you can overcome this obstacle!
1. I accomplished all of my goals this week, but I'm having a tougher time with the longer to-do list, so I might start building it into my weekly goals instead.
2. My "win for the week" was definitely running 9 miles! Being more consistent with it is helping a lot.
3. My challenge was spending more time on my phone when I WASN'T in bed. I redownloaded TikTok to have something to watch on the treadmill and I got distracted with scrolling :(
4. Posting on here really helped me meet my goals - every time I wanted to use my phone in bed I thought about what I'd posted on here! I think I need to work more on time management so I was thinking of using the Pomodoro method but if anyone has suggestions I'm open to them.
Thanks ladies!
1. Last week was super intense for me. I finally finished a test work for a job offer on Sunday and they replyed that I need to make some corrections. The reply was automated as they search for candidates on a wide scale. So it's a bit of a s**t job. But I had a huge gap on my career so I have to consider these kinds of jobs I guess. My only regret that I might have missed some better job offers while doing their sh*t-test. Feel so much despair about the whole situation. 2. Made a bit (tiny amount but still) of money on the side 3. Started working on my mental health in regards to the whole job search thing. That helped me finish the test work much more efficiently. Will try to keep at it. 4. Made a new account on FDS with proton mail which I don't use for anything else. 5. Might not be just this week: I'm doing much better now and the greaf is not so crippling anymore after loosing my pet. Just miss her a lot. Self work with IFS (internal family therapy) and my therapist helped a lot. I saw the therapist more often during initial time right after the tragedy happen. I am super proud of my progress on that. 6. Had put together some nice outfits from my wordrobe to go to the grocery, etc. The results are rather cute. So proud of myself again. 7. Increased my ability for daily productivity with Focusmate and IFS. 8. Talked to my friends
