I saw a clip of Nikki Glaser's new standup on Instagram, which looked kinda funny, so I turned on HBOMax to check it out. It's called "Good Clean Filth" so I was prepared for dirty jokes. But not the extreme pickme messages she joked about. It was like she took a batch of FDS values and flipped them right over.
Here are some of the wonderful topics she covered:
1) All women should do anal.
2) If you feel like there's nothing in it for you when you have sex, it's fine, just find the humor in the situation. And keep having casual sex with no expectations for yourself.
3) Men will have sex with you and then lose interest because BIOLOGY — and it's women's BIOLOGY to encourage them to have sex with other women as they wish.
4) "If I ever have a daughter, I'll drown her"
5) It's fine if middle aged men find 20 year old women attractive and want to date them (weird mixed messages about this, because then she also calls them creeps and says the 20 year olds need therapy?)
6) Calls herself a feminist multiple times.
Thank gawd she didn’t touch on porn. I just kept thinking to myself, "Imagine if this was a man on stage." She was spewing some of the most misogynistic, woman-hating jokes I've ever heard. I almost can't belive that this was even real at all. This special seems like it could be an episode out of a sci-fi horror where a woman gets possessed by an incel and lands an HBO special.

Oh dear. We have discussed Niki Glasser on FDS before. She genuinely seems troubled and I've seen interviews where she talks about her porn addiction. She needs therapy.

Her jokes are not even funny. I watched bc I like to support women comedians, and what a bummer. Not only was it misogynistic, it was boring.

jfc, this reminds me of a POV-type IG reel (from a tiktok) i saw about how it's 7am and she's laying on top of the covers because the scrote is dead asleep and she wants to fart so badly since she arrived at 11pm and her phone is at 2% etc. too many women were replying with "OMG so relatable!!11" and not a single one called out the disgusting expectations of scrotes and ONS.
i try my damn best to not get riled up over pickmes because i am absolutely pro-women, but they make it so incredibly hard.

I'm a stand-up comic and have never found her funny. Being a lady comic is so difficult and I've thought of quitting multiple times in the past 2 years because it's exhausting. I used to write pick me material and didn't even realize I was doing it bc I wanted to be booked more. Then I noticed whenever I wrote jokes about men - just BARELY making fun of them or pointing out annoying things they do - men got SO mad! Comics and male audience members both got mad. Meanwhile I had to sit thru extremely scrotey jokes from other comics about women OR jokes about SA. Now...IDGAF and if I want to write a joke about shitty stuff men do and tell it...I do. Even if it results in not getting booked by a scrotey male booker - oh well! Part of me is thinking Nikki went in the pick me direction specifically to make sure she gets more work by appeasing the scrotes and that's what's irritating. Also, famous comics like her are surrounded by yes people who won't tell her a joke isn't funny bc they have their own agenda to use her or are trying to get work as well. Stand-up is extremely toxic about 75% o the time.
She's HILARIOUS for about 2.4 minutes and then she can't stop talking sh_t about her own pussy lips and joking about her sex parts and I just can't take it anymore.
