R/thatdidnthappen Sounds like a poorly written incestuous story post. He's most likely sexually frustrated by his daughter and likes to think of her as some lolita style character who has the sexual agency as an adult man to make himself feel better. Delusional male creatures I swear. And that is if he has a daughter and wife- which I'm doubting.

I'm 99% sure that this is a fake, made-up scrote fantasy post and this guy is some sort of incel, LARPing in a big way. In the 1% chance that it's not fake, I'm guessing the man exaggerated in his post. I highly doubt he receives notes about his daughter at work. And how would his friends know if she'd had abortions? Even if they worked in a hospital, there's such a thing as patient confidentiality. Either way, the girl would either have been trafficked (probably by the mother) or has been groomed/a victim of sa to have got to this point. The normal parent reaction to this sort of behaviour would be to ask her about it in a non-confrontational way, talk to her and arrange for her to start therapy as soon as possible.

I’m seeing THREE sides of the story in here: 1. His. 2. The mother’s. 3. The daughter’s. I can’t comment much on the dad’s, but as a mother and daughter I can offer my two POVs on #2 and #3: #2: As a mother (and someone who’s eerie familiar with Islam, despite not practicing said religion), the mother is dishonoring the household by not finding a common ground with the dad in regards to the daughter. The dads HBP IS a serious concern that could get worse, and the mother’s unwillingness to reach a compromise with the sad looks bad on the mother. I DO DISAGREE on cutting off her entire allowance. If that were to happen they should at least tell the daughter to find a part time job and/or tie her allowance to good grades. Also, it is worrisome the MOTHER isn’t talking to her about precautions in regards to older, predatory men. I’d be cool with her dating and having SAFE SEX, just not with older men (like the dad described). After all, with so many hot, good looking younger men to choose from… why the older ones AT 16?! 3# As a former teenage girl, she sounds like she’s in a dire “cry for help”, and her mother better put some boundaries NOW!!!!
