Anti Porn doesn’t cut it, it needs to be called out as abuse and made illegal

yep, us trying to ban porn will inevitably have some pickme go "no i'm okay with it!" and men using them to justify its existence.

My thought is the beginnning is to take a hard stance that porn is abuse and it incites abuse against women. I think part of the problem is that the critics of porn are soft on it in general, and focus on the porn viewers well-being and ignore the women getting punched and pee‘d on and the epidemic of sexual assault and harassment. There’s no reason for people to make something illegal if it’s just seen to harm the user and a personal choice. The commoditization of humans is what I think needs to be unapologetically pointed out. If porn comes up I tell people who are defending it it’s abuse and I don’t try to make them feel better about it. It ends up being the end of the friendship but I think thats Okay they need to start feeling shame about what they are participating in and how it affects other people including me.

I agree. It's sad to see that most normal people - at least in public - condemn CP and basically demand the death penalty for child molesters. But as long as the victim in the film or crime is a day over 18, then anything goes! The moral posturing of men who are against CP but who fap all day to god knows what doesn't count for much.
