So, had a guy at work a year ago who RELENTLESSLY harassed me. Like, mimicking things I said that were pretty normal, and even coming up to me later to repeat those things as if he had some kind of edge on me.
I have a relative who insists that its impossible that ive ever coded.
My grandfather has been making fun of the fact that I took four years of Japanese and am actively learning it still.
Then there's that guy who things I'm making up the language when I speak it because he only watches anime. (He's still insisting there's no way me taking my four years of it makes me know more than him, since he watches anime and passively listens, and he's been talking mad shit behind my back).
So, these guys are jealous.
Males have almost always been meaner to me than other girls and women.
I think they think that since they would never want to be TREATED the way they treat women, then that means they can't be jealous.
Since they think it's impossible for them to be jealous, instead of working out those feelings, they double down on the insults.
It's kind of like when a minority succeeds at something traditionally White, racist people get mad. That's not anger, that's jealousy.
These guys can't believe that what they view as porn meat was able to achieve something.
If a guy is mean to you, ESPECIALLY if you've achieved something, then it's because he's jealous. And if jealousy leads to him being angry, then he probably views you as sub-human.
One red flag to look out for is if they mention an achievement of yours, but in a tone that you can't quite put your finger on. That's them disbelieving you accomplished something in spite of being female, which they see as a curse.
Women almost never treat me this way because they inherently see the humanity in me.
It's weird to me that women are seen as the ones being mean to each other. Yeah I've had my share of some mean girl experiences, sure. But men? They've always been WAY meaner to me.
