I posted this as a response in another post but I figured it may deserve its own post, and I want to hear your experience too. I want ya to list common traits and circumstances of porn broken men. Please add if you see anything you have observed that is missing from my list!
I think it goes beyond sexual performance too. It breaks their brain in a way they turn into zombies. I have had multiple relationships (older than most here) and there have been men who were very dependent on porn as well as men who barely glance at it if ever that I have lived with. The below traits are always observed in men that ar entangled with porn. It goes beyond ED and bad performance in bed. The men that don’t use porn did not have these same problems:
ED and bad performance in bad, useless in terms of getting me off - this one is obvious
Ogling women in bed
Some weird “kink” or sexualizing children
Put downs and subtle and not so subtle criticisms on my body, what I wore, my hair, everything. You’d think they aspire to be a cosmetologist. By the way the men who didn’t use adored me, I am naturally very beautiful even though I don’t do mainstream “feminine” care. The diff here is huge porn broken men would imply I am ugly or overweight (whether I was or not!) whereas I was so adored - even years after the relationship ended by the other men that weee not broken by porn.
Agressiveness. I’ve been in abusive relationships. Without fail all and only the men porn broken were dangerous, vile.
Low achievements: the porn broken men were always broke, dead end jobs, struggling, addicts, insecure
Hyperfixated on some of your physical features. For example, if you are a redhead, he always compliments it, probably too often. If you wear glasses, or you're Asian atc. Treating you like a porn category, basically. It can be mistaken for him appreciating your beauty, but don't be fooled.
If he's into Game of Thrones, I assume he's pornsick. I don't care if it's a popular show and "everyone has watched it so what's the big deal."
Also, if he's into anime, he's probably into hentai.
They have dead eyes, like those whole fish you can find dead in freezer section of the supermarket. They look at us like we are objects, because porn fried their brains.
In the early stages of dating: making sexual comments and innuendos very early on. They're often disguised as a joke so they can take it back. If it feels like they're testing you, they indeed are testing you. They also can't help themselves but blurt those things out.
Last year I was chatting on Tinder (...yeah) with a guy who made a point to rant how soooo many movies and tv shows these days have suuuuch ridiculous sex scenes, and how sex is of course "a natural part of life" but he just doesn't like how it's portrayed in media. LMAO, how noble! It rubbed me the wrong way then and now that some time has passed, I think he was full of shit. It felt very performative. He kept saying things he thought women in general wanted to hear. So keep an eye for pearl clutching too!
Every single thing can remind them of sex.
They see people exercising? "That looks like fucking!"
They see a woman doing something clumsy? "I bet she gives really bad hand jobs!"
They need to come up with a name for a team? "Porn-something" (actually happened to me at a tech conference when they paired me with some neckbeard)
Absolutely anything and everything in their minds turns into something dirty and gross.
They are completely hyper-fixated on women's appearance. They comment on celebrities (I've been told that Shakira's butt is too small and oh Beyonce's chest is too flat. Sucks to be them I guess..), they comment on your hair/clothes/hands/body/anything. They think their input is valuable when you change your hair.
The few times they say anything positive about women (rare) it is 100 percent going to be something looks-related.
They are always moral relativists who stand for nothing. Age of consent? "Well some people mature early". Prostitution? "Sex work is work".
They have completely nonexistent impulse control in anything. They will sleep past the noon if they can. They do not exercise. They eat junk. Too much of it. Their finances are not in order. If they don't cheat, that is only because a) no one will date them so no one to cheat on b) they date but can't get anyone else to sleep with. They would fuck everything that moves if they could.
Their eyes will stare at your person in a way that is painfully obvious to you. They are so accustomed to consuming images of 2D women on screens, that I suppose they completely lose what self-awareness they had and go into ogling mode. They cannot fathom that there is someone looking back, seeing them as they stare.
They have an intense and terminal lack of empathy for anything that is alive. They usually don’t care about nature, love, or anything truly creative unless it involves sex. They have no soul.
Another thing I find is porn sick men are fixated on hair color and what they see in porn. I had a man want to change my hair to blonde cause that’s the woman he watched in porn and I ended up doing it cause I wanted but then was with a man who liked black hair due to watching latinas. It’s sick honestly and I’m tired of being catorized from fake videos of woman moaning online. I’m a human being
I dated a sexual abuser in my ignorant early 20s. Among many other despicable things he did, he tried to compliment me on the shape of my lips. What he said: "You have DSL. Dick-sucking lips."
That was the only terminology he could come up with.
Every time I think about that piece of shit, I feel bathed in slime. I hope he gets sexually assaulted the way he sexually assaulted me.
They don't see us as humans. Often, they don't come with a woman because they're so brainwashed by increasingly specific stuff than no real woman could make him excited anymore they are addicts, and like any addiction, it needs treatment - Some may get close to their "partner" but they'll always have those neurological pathways that take them back to what used to get them off. It's a real problem and that's why we need to vet vet vet carefully and talk about corn early to really get an idea good luck! <3
