Question. Why do most men claim they are addicted to porn? I see it everywhere. All the men I've dated in the past have said it. I've seen videos recommended to me that say things like, "how to get over porn addiction." Don't they understand how weird and disturbing it is to be addicted to seeing other people and pixels on a screen having sex? And a lot of them think it's real life. Is there a reason I'm missing? I just don't get it. I've watched it before but it's not something I'd say I could ever see myself getting addicted to.

They have no idea how much porn has fucked with their heads because they started watching it at 9-10 years old. It's like breathing to them.
Clinical trials on porn were immediately shut down when researchers figured out just how seriously damaging it is to men, their relationships with women and society. It was deemed unethical and that's why after 20 years, there's barely any research.
Men don't care because it's "easier" than trying to be a decent man and having a healthy relationship with a woman.
the irony of the cold detachment of the personality who gets aroused by watching sex on a screen is astounding. most men are obsessed with their dicks and would rather watch naked women on a video than caress and cherish a live, warm-blooded woman in their presence...and do what it takes to keep her fulfilled.
I don't get it either and don't have an answer. But I do think the reason I, and a lot of women, get misunderstood about this, is that they just think we are jealous or something.
No, the main reason I hate porn is that it grosses me out, and a person who is into it grosses me out in turn. Also It is morally reprehensible. And so fake, like how stupid do you have to be to think that the woman is actually enjoying it?
Or to be able to even convince yourself to get into the fantasy of someone acting that way. Knowing in reality it is likely very traumatizing for them and that they must really really need the money to get by. I have a visceral disgust for it and for anyone who can get off to it.
I think they claim it because they are and they hope that you'll be fine with that. To them, it's a harmless addiction (it's not, but that's a whole damn thesis I ain't getting into here) like video games or vaping. They don't understand that they're basically telling women how broken and unlikely to be worth her time that they are.
Okay, I'm getting tired of women trying to blame porn, video games, whatever, instead of coming to the realization that men enjoy seeing women degraded. This is what you're fucking, ladies. Most of those women on tape were either being raped or coerced. Let's be honest, here.
Porn is a weapon. It was invented to be and has been used in war as a weapon. It renders males useless and reduces women to objects that are to be sexually battered.
I didn't even think that was a problem until I realized that me watching porn was WAY different than them doing it. They're watching women get choked, spit on, anally bleeding, yelling, slapped, etc, and they're imagining being the people DOING that kind of stuff.
