I've seen this happened online a few times. Women will call men out for imposing unrealistic beauty standards on women and then men will say this is not the case as they like a diverse range of women (e.g. women of different races and women of different body shapes). They will say they value feminine beauty in different faults and it's the women's fault for thinking men are only into skinny white women.
While we may be convinced to agree with these men, it's worth noting that men often like different types of women when they are bored of one type of women. Men seek novelty, and even if a LVM is dating a supermodel, he'll long to bang a woman who looks different than his SO simply because he got bored of her. There's hence nothing morally superior about men liking different types of women.
Men are spoiled. The reality is there are tons of attractive women everywhere… dating for them is like having an expensive box of assorted chocolates. Some might be praline, others have caramel, some have nuts, but bottom line is there is a variety to choose from that all tastes good.
Meanwhile for women it’s like choosing from a high school cafeteria. Most of the choices are offensive and tastes like shit.
Let's not forget who imposes unrealistic beaty standards. Men. In China the beauty standard used to be wrapping feet to make them look smaller. In Thailand the golden rings around neck. In Europe - the thinning corsettes or making face white with load powder. Are we still taking these standards serious? What about thousands of women developing ED due to promotion of unrealistically thin models like Twiggy or Kate Moss? What about idiotic promotion of super thin eye brows under pretence that too much looks unkept and 20 years later when thousands of women lost natural hair there due to plucking - of course they promote literal bush, that of course you can tatoo on your face for shitload of money.
Do not believe beauty stanadard promoted by males. Everything they do, they do for profit. If you follow, they will call you high maintenance (they invented it, they know) and if you don't they will call you uggo. But know that all these cosmetics, treatments, plastic surgeries - all of that has impact on your health.
Look into traditional ways of keeping up your appearance. Try to stay healthy because medical bias will rather kill you than help you with anything.
A very kind girl I met had breast implants in her early 20s due to men calling her flat and she ended up getting a bunch of autoimmune diseases, even heart inflammation. I wanted to get a breast augmentation and she warned me against it and shared how much she is suffering. I have had the same problem, men calling me flat and laughing at me.
She can't even take disability benefits cause breast implant illness isn't recognized yet even though there are tons of cases and solid proof. And she is one of the most lovely people I have met.
I feel so bad for what women go through. Men ain't shi. Most of them have super narrow boxes of what is attractive. And still treat any woman like shi
Ppppffftttttt lmaooo
The problem is that we often still believe we need to conform to a specific, narrow beauty standard (being stick thin, or being very curvy etc) in order not to get treated really badly.
"If i were just beautiful enough I would be treated well, I wouldn't be used for sex/bullied/triangulated/negged...." Which is doomed to fail, because just as men in general like a wide range of people, abusive men will also be cruel to a range of people.
