When they do shit that pisses me off over and over, I will often tell them what's going to happen.
They usually don't believe me.
They try to get me to respond the way an NPC would respond in a movie about them, and when I respond like a real person with actual feelings, it confuses and enrages them.
The nerdy "friendly" guy who raped me is losing friends, and messaging me begging me to "see things from his perspective."
I already understand the perspective of a rapist who is well educated and likable on the surface. I see where he is coming from.
But my body wasn't his, and I'm going to keep ruining his life, while he feels more and more like a victim instead of a perpetrator.
Maybe I'll even go overkill and be more of a perpetrator than him.
I never understand when men think they get their dating standards, advice and idea from movies/TV on how women should act? Like when did we nominate movies and some (MEN ARE USUALLY DIRECTORS) to dictate how dating should flow?
Kinda like how they watch porn once and that's all of a sudden how they think all women should act in bed. Or men accusing women of being disney princesses idealization/expectations in dating like NO we don't? They think because women have fun with the cosplay aspect of it that it's.. life-dominatingly serious. For the most part it's not- not gonna discount there's some people that take these things way too far.
I never understood that. I watch anime and elmo I don't sit here wondering why I can't turn into a magical girl or why elmo doesn't magically appear when I'm sad. Are men THAT disconnected from reality?
