So I primarily use facebook to keep up with a few friends and keep up with local issues. I keep it squeaky clean and friend-only in case of employer background checks. But living in a red state that basically outlaws abortion, it's on my mind almost 24/7 as it endangers me and many other women on a level men are incapable of truly understanding. So I decide to go political on my profile for this, and there's no stupid profile pic frame. We had these signallers for political/moral stances all the time, and now that women can be forced to give birth to their rapist's children, Facebook has nothing available?! This is really such a slap in the face, and to see how corporations will acknowledge LGBT but essentially take the entire female sex for granted is a whole layer of misogyny I wish didn't exist. I'm sure the older ladies who have seen so much more male depravity aren't surprised, so please lend your wisdom: how deep does the societal misogyny go? Should I cut my losses and move to another state regardless of an upcoming local election? I also invite everyone to share their thoughts.

Women are the only oppressed group you can openly and shamelessly be bigoted and hateful toward.
The lgbt folks were able to acquire rights and protection in just about 30 years more than what women were able to achieve in a hundred years.
There are social consequences enforced immediately to being anti-lgbt unlike to being a misogynistic pos.
Any attack against the lgbt whether physical or verbal gets instantly acknowledged & labelled as a "hate crime" yet the same is not acknowledged to any crime committed against women whether it was a mass shooter or just your everyday femcide violence.
Lgbt slurs are taken very fucking seriously, and no one dares to want to be labelled as a "homophobe" and everyone is trying to avoid such label and to not associate with it cause of the enforced social consequences we mentioned in point 3..while misogynistic slurs are never given the same seriousness...any man can easily and spontaneously call any woman he doesn't like for some reason a "bitch" "cunt" "whore" "thot" ..etc and no one would pat a fucking eye to that....yet if a straight person used any lgbt slur everyone would flip the fuck out.
These misogynistic slurs have oppressive power to them when used on women, so why is it not taken as seriously!!!!
Facebook recently handed over private data that they didn’t need to have held on to so that the state could more easily criminally charge a teenager for her abortion. Fuck Facebook.
I personally believe corporations only acknowledge issue likes LGBT, because it's trendy and includes everyone. True feminism makes pickme's and scrotes face their harsh realities, and they no likey that (hell does anyone?). Hence the opportunity to make money is lower unless your a niche indie business. That's not me even opening the scrotes and pickmes/LVW run companies & crap- can. Needless to say radical feminism is V niche.
