Its called Himpathy. Undeserved empathy towards volatile males.
Buddhists believe that women are responsible for the, specifically negative and violent, actions of men. They consider all women and girls to be magical succubus who telepathically force men to molest rape and kill. All of human history is men ruining lives around them, and coping by saying 👉👈 I'm still going to heaven right? Surely I am. There cant be consequences in the afterlife for my actions, because there are no consequences for my actions now in this life.
I'm Buddhist, I haven't heard of this magical succubus thing. 😅
Though it's true enough that any belief system that had men adding stuff to it over a long enough time is going to have misogynist BS in it.
I haven't quit Buddhism the way I quit Christianity because the misogynist BS, while it exists, doesn't permeate its belief system in the same way. In Buddhism, karma comes for everyone. There's no easy out like scapegoating some woman who ate a fruit or washing sins clean through someone else's bloodshed. 😆
I prefer the women friendly version too although its pretty much just PR. And definitely believe in karma and dharma. In og Buddhism women cant be buddhists because the whole succubus thing. Women cant touch or even hand an object to the men without first setting it down on a magic cloth or something that way its cleansed of her evil energy.
Buddhism is very incel-y i was shocked when I found out lol. But how i see it is if those men have such terrible intentions toward women, then they can stay their asses in temples. Good for them lol
From the words of my lord and savior Jenna Marbles, people make what they think is the best decision for THEMSELVES in the moment and not what you think they should be doing.
I've been getting comfortable with the idea that it suits men to hurt and control women, and to stop hearing what they say and let my opinion of men (people in general) be affected by what I see them do to women.
I'm still sad and angry at the way men act, but it doesn't catch me off guard anymore.
