When a couple is having an argument and the woman tries to walk away/ disengage, but the guy physically restrains her until they kiss and make up #HappilyEverAfter 🙄
Yeah that counts as putting your hands on a woman as far as I'm concerned and I'm sick of it being romanticized.
All of this to say, Ladies. If your man pulls this shit irl, please leave him. It's not cute. It's not romantic. And it's a precursor to physical abuse.

I couldn’t agree more. This is supposed to be romantic in “theory” but not in reality. It’s like the trope of the guy who won’t take a woman’s “no” when he asks her out and she says she’s not interested. Look at Noah in The Notebook. He’s basically threatening to kill himself by letting go and falling off the ferris wheel if Allie doesn’t agree to go out with him. In the movie, it’s supposed to be romantic especially as you have a good looking Ryan Gosling doing all of this but when you look at it for what it is, it’s highly manipulative and shows a guy that doesn’t respect boundaries. It’s why when these things play out in real life, you see how creepy and non romantic it actually is.
