Just finished reading this Cut article that totally feels FDS appropriate.
It's about the women of South Korea’s 4B movement who aren’t fighting the patriarchy — they’re leaving it behind entirely.

A world without men means a world with minimal injustice and harm. Women only make 20% of al criminals worldwide so imagine a world with only 5% of crimes against humanity? Life would flourish.
And I don’t fight the Patriarch either. I leave it behind and won’t let men use me. We need segregation. Half of the planet is ours and half of the rest will be inherited by men. Theirs will be a warzone and ours will be a place where you can raise your daughters in

Excerpt explaining 4B>>> "4B is shorthand for four Korean words that all start with bi-, or “no”: The first no, bihon, is the refusal of heterosexual marriage. Bichulsan is the refusal of childbirth, biyeonae is saying no to dating, and bisekseu is the rejection of heterosexual sexual relationships. It is both an ideological stance and a lifestyle, and many women I spoke to extend their boycott to nearly all the men in their lives, including distancing themselves from male friends."
Korea is fun to visit, but it's a terrible place to live for women. The Korean government reported that more than half of Korean men have used prostitutes. Coworkers go together to "business clubs" to use prostitutes. The pressure to invest a ton of time, money, effort is your appearance is extreme...
I love 4B ideology in theory, but I can't imagine giving up my relationship and sex. I definitely experienced a lot more bad relationships and sex, but when it's good, it's hard to forgo.
“obsessed by the things done to her by her father and pressured into maintaining her appearance”
i feel called out 😅
wow.
i mean, keep poking the tiger and it’s going to rip your balls off eventually. 🤷🏽♀️
crazy that a woman just being safe and living life has to be labeled as “political lesbianism.”
is anyone else exhausted??
so i've been living by the 4B principles for years now and didn't even realize ahaha
i loooove this! i want to go join them in person! i feel like i'm alone in my decision to leave men behind completely and being as safe as one can be.
