I posted about this site a long while ago and how I had stumbled upon it in my late teens by digging through my older sister's internet search history (yep, nosey). It was around in the early 2000s, maybe late 90s.
FDS had it in their Wiki, too, but sisters... it is a gold mine!
It looked like the site was deleted or something in the past couple of years and I've been trying to find it ever since. I got it!!!
Obviously some stuff was much more relevant to the time period, but it's mostly on par with everything FDS is and then some.
Perhaps my favorite thing about it is the fact that the overall tone of the site really drove the point home that we have the ability to control a lot of what happens in our lives and in our dating lives (which is much discussed on the site), rather than get tossed around in dating or in life as if we have no say in things. A defeatist attitude was never their thing (like the creator of FDS - OGJammies - said, "A queen's attitude is never defeatist. It's DISRUPTIVE.")
In the end, it really is about what we accept or don't accept, especially when we have the knowledge to back it up (one of the many reasons it's important to devour FDS-style content). Something about their tone and outright refusal to accept excuses, even the ones we make to our own selves, just feels empowering as hell. I know the OG FDS sub had this tone, too, but HBI really didn't hold back. You'll see what I mean as you start reading through... not to mention the way they word everything is absolutely hilarious!
