Hi ladies, Queens, and Queens-in-the-making,
Hope you’re all managing ok and looking after yourselves.
I’m intermittently perusing the handbook again as I’m going through some challenging times, and needing to be reminded of some of these principles and standards…
In the interest of up-leveling the quality of the forums a bit, I thought I would invite you to join my on this one. Check out the article for yourself, and do share any takeaways, musings, opinions, reflections, thoughts etc you have on it, and your own journey.
This time I’m looking at the article entitled “The Qualities of Queen-dom”, by user AQueenCrowned you can find it on page 75 (at least, on my version).
My fave takeaways, timely reminders, and reflections…
“Queens excel at budgeting their time and energy wisely . “
* "A Queen suffers no fools She does not concern herself with the opinions of those who have not proven their worthiness to her. She does not give of her time and energy to anyone who disrespects her or fails to acknowledge her worth. "
* "A Queen never shies away from the truth …a Queen never backs down from taking in the true measure of a situation or person. She doesn't delude herself into thinking something is more palatable than it is, and she never lies to herself. "
* "To be a Queen, you have to put in the work. You have to have accomplished things that you're proud of, because those accomplishments become the bedrock upon which you build your unwavering confidence "
Check out “The Qualities of Queen-dom” and share some of your thoughts, ‘ahas’ and takeaways.
What are some of yours?
How are you creating your Queen-dom today?
Financial Independence and freedom is my main focus. + also health and vetting acumen.... amongst others.
💜 this post.
Scrotes and the scrotedom should take zero seconds away from us. Notice how the first thing we are mad at when we end it with a horrible guy is how much TIME we wasted. Time is precious... don't let these scrotes rob you of it! Use that saved time to level up instead. There is no benefit to willingly diving in to the scrotedom, keeping scrotes around in your life, analyzing their lameness, etc etc.
This summer, I'm soley focused on de-stressing and growing my money in investments and CDLs.
Knowing my worth... I treat this like a full-time job. Always working on keeping my health, stress levels, hobbies in check. Always working on confidence building. Aiming for higher, looking for better, and planning my next steps. It is a rebellious act for a woman to love herself in a society designed to crush her self-esteem... so, I make that a priority, always.
Over the past few months, I broke up with cosmetics. It had to happen due to eyeball issues, but honestly I'm glad it did. I am basically 100% bare faced outside of some sunscreen and moisturizer I can tolerate. As a long time light makeup user, this was really hard for me. But the more I did it, the more comfortable I became with my bare face.
I really was chained to cosmetics, chained to skincare, likeI felt I needed it just to exist... I didn't realize how deep the addiction ran in me until I had to give them up. I've saved money, I've saved time, and have also learned to love what my face has to offer with nothing on it. I honestly look better without all of it and my skin is in better shape than it was while using so many products.
