In a recent interview with a women's magazine she said, and I quote:
"Nobody ever says a thing about men's bodies, If you're muscular, cool. If you're not, cool. If you're rail thin, cool. If you have a dad bod, cool. If you're pudgy, love it! Everybody's happy with it. You know why? Because girls are nice. They don't give a fuck because we see people for who they are!"
Now also some of her previous comments from years back are being dug up, such as:
"Why is every pretty girl with a horrible-looking man, I don't understand.
Listen, I'm not shaming people for their looks, but I am though. You give an ugly guy a chance, he thinks he rules the world," she said. "I swear to god, because they got a hot girl, they can be horrible? Like, you're still ugly though."
What do you guys think? Personally since she's a privileged celebrity I don't trush her, however I find it bizzare how the whole internet is going apeshit when all she did was say something mean about men. Meanwhile many male celebrities say, or even do worse things to women and get away with it almost all the time. Cue all the misogynistic comments disguised as "criticism" because scrotes are just so stoic and don't get emotional easily. Now I don't 100% agree with what she says, but it's really telling who is being favored in this society when a small comment about them gets the person hated on like there's no tomorrow. Like the famous quote from Voltaire goes, if you want to know who controls you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize.
She's right in this instance, and that's all that matters. I don't trust her, either- not because she's a privileged celeb but because life has traumatized me and I don't trust anyone. But she's right.
Out of all things said about male bodies, the one that enrages me is "dadbod". Like dude, have you gond through one pregnancy, labor and breastfeeding at least? No. So shut the fuck up - you're fat. Woman who birthed 3 kids is shamed for having "mombod" because she let herself go.
Yet Matt Riffe keeps his comedy show with no accountability for making fun and blame domestic violence victims. It's always okay for men to take a jab at women and hide behind the " It's a joke"
But it's so wrong to ahve men deal with the fraction of the disrespect. Men make podcasts berating women but a comment like that makes men all butthurt.
I applaud her for saying these FDS phrases. She might be a secret supporter.
They'd go after ANYONE telling the truth.
If their waifu pillow could tell them the truth, the Japanese economy would collapse.
SHES RIGHT. DIE MAD SCROTES!!! They're not judged even a 10th of what we are. They will never know what it's like to feel like an object
Omfg like who cares women’s looks are dogged left and right unprovoked. Those same ppl whining about that. Probably have made fun of women’s looks too.
Her point still stands. She was talking about ugly men’s faces vs women’s bodies.
