Adriana Smith was a 31-year-old Black woman who was pregnant when she was declared brain dead in February 2025. Despite her condition, she was kept alive to continue her pregnancy. On June 13th, she underwent an emergency C-section and gave birth to her son. Adriana was laid to rest on June 28th. Her mother did not want her to be kept on life support and expressed a desire for Adriana to find peace.
What happened to Adriana Smith is disgusting. This was a deliberate and calculated attempt to push how far they can remove women from the process of creating life. They completely failed to recognize her humanity. It’s disgusting—especially the men who obsess over birth rates declining, when everyone knows this is about controlling women’s bodies, lives, and choices. THAT’S IT. It’s got nothing to do with “birth rates” these men don’t give a fuck about starving children, or child trafficking or the general well being of people around them. It’s about controlling women’s bodies.
These men don’t care about life or people. They care about control. And the fact that Adriana had a son only makes it worse. She could rest in peace just to have a male child?! It’s fucking sick and heinous. Men have nothing to offer the world or nature hence why they have an obsession with women, our bodies, wombs and life force. They spend their entire lives trying to extract that value from us because men on their own have nothing of value to offer to society other than creating artificial means to justify their own existence. It’s fucking sick.
The USA is messed up. I've never seen a country both so insanely individualistic yet conservative. It all comes down to USA men opressing women. Even the whole multidating so common in the USA is meant to destabilize women.
Alot of forced breed apologists claim that she wanted to have the baby and that’s why they kept her alive long enough. Unless there is proof of that I call it bullshit.
The thing that horrifies me most is that she was only 9 weeks pregnant when it happened so she was brain dead for most of the pregnancy.
I get trying to save the baby when it's very late in the pregnancy and keeping a woman alive for a week or two until a safe c-section is possible, provided that it's absolutely certain she wanted the child.
But this? It's using a dead woman as an incubator and who knows what impact it had on the child?
