I know that sounds parasocial, but there's a very good chance that Taylor is in danger. This is a very vulnerable time for her given how nobody knows what she's up to after 2 years of back to back touring and Travis Kelce just faced an incredibly humiliating defeat. Unlike last year it would be very easy for her to go missing and have her disappearance be noted as just a lengthy break from being in the public eye for as long as she has.
This question will probably ruffle some feathers.. I'm posing this as a fan of Taylor Swift the person first and foremost. It's not a topic of discussion I want to be having and I truly wish I didn't but I can't in good conscience as a fan of Taylor's not bring it to light if no one else is going to. People are welcome to take issue, but I'm genuinely worried and would rather be chastised for being irrational (which I am willing to admit and hope to god to be true if that is actually the case) than pretend I couldn't see it coming if on the off chance my fears are proven true.
I would also like to say that I don't think there's any reason for concern at the time of writing this. I don't think Taylor is in any immediate danger nor do I think Travis Kelce is in any way abusive. Travis, if you're by any chance exposed to this post, please know I have my faith in you for the time being and you personally haven't done anything to make me think you would be capable of what I'm about to insinuate. I would be considering this regardless of any other athlete who experienced what you did. Please don't take it personally. I WANT you to prove me wrong. At this moment, I'm willing to put my trust in you that you WILL.
But the elephant in the room needs to be addressed: Travis didn't lose just ANY superbowl this year. He lost the chance to score a threepeat. I'm not even a football person in any way shape or form and even I know that's going to be a sore spot for any sports player hoping to create a notable legacy for themselves which Travis most certainly is. It will be something his opps (and he has many) will use to rub salt in the wound in coming years unless he manages to score another one and not retire for another three years. Bare minimum. And again, not a football fan but I know that's very late for a pro footballer at his age to not retire. He there is a STRONG possibility he will be forced to do that thanks to a mass of health problems before another he even scores another chance for a three-peat much less wins one.
So here's my question: what's going to happen when he's forced to retire before that happens whether he likes is or not and resign his football legacy to being 'yet another guy who missed the chance to win three superbowls in a row' regardless of his success in other non-football ventures while she's still churning out smash albums and breaking records in her own field from centuries ago?
I'm just saying. We all know she's never going to stop being the number one main pop girlie whether anybody likes it or not even if she's not as big as she was from 2022-24. But there's a very good chance that he'll have to resign himself to losing out on any further chances at making nfl history while she's going to be the first female artist to ever have five diamond albums by the end of this decade even if she doesn't put anything new out for the remainder of it. Not to mention the most songs for any female artist on spotify with over a billion streams in this year alone?
I don't want to believe that I have any reason for Travis to grow insecure and abusive. But even if he's not right now or pretends otherwise on Jason's podcast he's still objectively fresh from an incredibly humiliating defeat, and if she announces a new project at the iheart radio awards when she wins tour of the century, she's going to outsell Madonna (yeah I'll say it) probably with pre-orders alone even if it's only a rerecording.
I'm scared, for her. I don't have any agenda. I'm not trying to convince anybody that she's secretly pining away for anybody else. I don't condone my words being used for such a purpose and I don't know where else to talk about it with.
Downvote me, but she's a privileged, influential, educated billionaire who put herself into this situation and could get out of it any time she wants to. If there are consequences to her shitty choice of partner that's a classic case of "play stupid games, win stupid prizes".

She is in a unique position of power that allows her to nope out of any relationship with zero repercussions in her lifestyle outside of the blow to her ego. She turned a nobody into a somebody, she has given him a huge platform, and he probally has made more money by being affiliated with her in his entire career.
