That is not a news article, that is a horrifying journal entry.
"I was confused, but I loved him, so we kept going." Huge red flag.
He went to Europe and the pretty European girls didn't want his medicocre, crusty, casual ass.
This is what I'm talking about when I say marriage is not the happy ever after end goal. Divorce can and does occur often, men get raises and promotions from the appearance of being a "stand up family man", even cheating is common because the ring makes women feel safe around him and married men cheat all the time.
So many marriages start this way-woman pressures guy, they marry, he gets a live-in sex robot, maid and personal chef and she gets what? Someone to cuddle, and a lukewarm relationship? Get a dog!
Wow! I’m sure we will have an update in a few years of this marriage dissolving!
I told a friend once who wanted to get back together with an ex, that it’s a bad idea 99.9999% of the time. When a break up happens no matter the reason given it all comes down to this person telling you (subtlety ) that they can do better than you. Why get back together when they thought they could do better? They’re back because no one else wanted them and they can’t be alone.
This guy in the article is the same. He thought he could find someone better than what he had and tried fucking around in Europe but women weren’t interested. So he thought he’d try his ex, who begged him for marriage and kids because in his mind she’d never say
”No” to him. He knows he can do whatever he wants with her because to him shes desperate.
If she found fds maybe she’d realize this, or maybe she’ll come around eventually.
Spot on especially about him thinking that she'd never say no. She says it herself - "He was standing at my door — in a gray sweater that I bought for him, with a huge bouquet of red roses, apparently confident that there was no chance I could have moved on and there was someone else in my room."
How pathetic. He knew he could just rock up at her door and she'd take him back in a flash.
yeah, of course the marriage has been his best decision ever.
he f*cked around in Europe for awhile, then realized he doesn't know how to dress himself and she bought him a sweater that one time. so he came back for his mommy mcbangmaid. good choice, Nigel.
block and delete and don't go backwards, sis. she said it herself: "something either moves forward or backward." sounds like a downward spiral to me 🤔
i hope she gets everything she wants.

As a New Yorker, I know for a fact that the vast majority (like 99.9%) of men in New York are LVM. Because the men are collectively LVM, women expect much less commitment- and relationship-wise from men than they would if they lived in other cities in the U.S. Yes, it's a generalization, but generalizations exist for a reason.
This woman sounds like a typical New York woman. I feel sorry for her. The thing is, even if she divorced him, she probably could not find a better husband in New York. It's not a knock against her, it's a knock against the quality of men in her city.
Men in New York are LV, and currently, there isn't a thing we can do to change it. There are just too many of them. 😓
Are there any states in America where the men aren't so horrifically LVM by sheer number? 🤔 I was told once that the deep south bred better gentlemen, but I don't know. I don't think I could stand too much conservatism.

I hated when she said, "As my behavior became more erratic, my boyfriend started pulling away." Sis, do you mean as you started to stand up for yourself and recognize that he was a scrote?

God, reading this broke my heart. He's so sure and so confident that she's such a "low tier" woman that there's no possible way that another man would try to sink his teeth into her. If he knew she was a great catch, he would have never dumped her, and he would have married her within one to two years, like any other man would do once he meets the woman he truly wants to spend his life with.
There's nothing to celebrate here. He never found his Dream Girl, so he settles for Ol' Reliable, instead. Marriages like this has an extremely high rate of quick divorces. Good luck, honey. I'm serious.

It's written all over his face. He's mentally checked out of this relationship
