If I see this topic come up one more time (especially on Reddit) I might blow a fuse.
It’s basically forbidden that you point out a man is unattractive, especially if you’re offended that he approached you. Then, as an attempt to humble you, people will claim you have a shitty personality, or you’re not as attractive as you think you are.
We know for a fact that many men are delusional and think they’re entitled to a 10/10- even though they look like they fell off a cliff and hit every branch on the way down. As a woman, you know it feels offensive when these kinds approach you because in their mind you’re on the same level. It’s beyond their comprehension that women have standards and preferences, and if they do sense that they always tell us our standards are too high.
Anyone else relate to this??
Yes. I was watching The Crappy Childhood Fairy on YT for a couple of months/years, until I realized that she was a severe pickme. One of the things that pointed me in her pickmeism direction was when she was reading a letter from a young woman in which she complained how 'a creepy old dude' approached her in a bar. And Anna (The Fairy) immediately jumped to the guy's defence, saying how "he's still a person" and shouldn't be called "creepy," completely ignoring the fact that he was about 50 years older than the letter writer 🙄. So personally, I (luckily) don't have experience with this, but it's just another attempt at trying to peg women and bring them down.
