Once was blind but now I see

The other night my husband put on a random movie on Netflix. (Side note, my husband is all the scrote LVM, but thats another post). The movie had Angelina Jolie and I watched a most of it and he watched till the end. The movie is called Wanted.

While watching I noticed some things here and there. However, the next day it became clear as I thought about it. The writers of this movie hate women and it is so disgusting how subtle yet in your face how it further adds to the subconscious of men to hate women. Throuout the movie it sends clear messages that women are shit, in a couple scenes they could have easily had a male for the character but each one they chose women and I know it had to be deliberate.

Later that evening I straight asked my husband what messages he may have picked up on in the movie. Of course he was oblivious, so I told him. He then said in other words how movies dont affect him and it was a pretty crap movie anyway. But I will switch the spotlight on every single time nomatter where I am or who is present I plan to point it out and not remain silent.
