Hello Queens!!
It’s Monday and you know what that means….a new week to work on goals!!
It is such a pleasure to have this space and group to hold each other accountable!
For anyone not familiar or needs a refresher below are the ground rules of the thread.
This is a non-judgement free space. We want ppl to feel comfortable sharing what goals they are working on. If commenter feels that a goal someone is working on is too big please provide constructive feedback (no shaming) on how they can improve their goal
Please start a new comment when posting your goal and then ppl reply on to that persons goal. It makes it easier to be able to track it
A new thread will be posted every Monday morning and another new post on Sunday will be “reflections of the past week” where we will discuss the wins, challenges and action plans for Monday. So feel free to comment anytime throughout the week.
Goals can be in any area of your life that you’re wanting to level up. Some examples are health/wellness, career, school, friendships, hobbies etc
All right! To help hold me accountable I’ll be editing this comment each time I complete a goal. This week I’m focusing on getting back into exercise regimen, career/school and friends/family

My goals for this week:
1. Limit screen time and start social media detox/dopamine reset once projects wrap up 2. Reset sleep cycle; aiming to wake up with sunrise
3. Resume a healthy exercise routine; aiming for at least 30 minutes of target heart rate 5 days a week
4. Start new skincare routine (the weather is getting drier in the northern hemisphere and skin needs extra protection!)
5. Meditate for 5-10 minutes a day
Ok, I'm going for this: 1. Finish restructuring resume 2. Build a portfolio of sample visual education tools 3. Send 1 and 2 to places that are looking for part time freelancers 4. Clean room (again) 5. Make a schedule for the week 6. Finish reading 5 research papers this week 7. Watch the stats videos 8. Set up journal 9. Make atleast 2 zines this week
My goal for this week is to be kind to myself and take the best care of my sprained ankle as possible so it will heal quickly. 😭 I was already up to 5 days of working out and I was feeling fantastic every day. Now the despondence is setting in already because it looks so bruised up I'm scared it's gonna take weeks to heal. 😢 Anyone else been here?
For this week: - Money! Pay Utilities and make and extra credit card payment. I’ve been maintaining a journal that I write the months due dates and payments, checking off categories before I see how much funds I have. I need to budget everything this week so I can budget for my birthday at the end of the month. - Home. Clean and disinfect the house. Tackle the various tiny clutter piles before they become next month’s problem. Catch up on laundry and look through my wardrobe on what I’m willing to give away. I’m holding on to too many junior outfits that still technically fit but don’t serve my adult life. - Self. I’ve been spreading myself thin helping out family and working two jobs. I need to not neglect myself this week. Goal is to keep up with face routine, keep up with exercise goals and not make excuses why I don’t have time, make sure I eat leafy greens and put good things in my body. I need to do some self reflection and reevaluate where I want to go in life.
Ok, this is officially my "back on track" week :) 1) Go to a pilates class today, a GAP class on Thursday, and a Cardio class on Sunday (maybe add a yoga class on Friday!)
2) Read as much as I can (no pressure, as long as I read a bit every day)
3) Be in nature
4) Eat wholesome foods and minimize sugar
5) Keep in touch with friends (2 scheduled coffee outings with the girls this week)
6) Keep in touch with my family
7) Work on my thesis *consistently* -- Maybe before work (need to adjust my circadian rhythm for that)
Walked 85 miles, 187,000+ steps on my Camino over the last three weeks. Called it off a few days ago amid a lot of epiphanies… and a back and shoulder injury that needs fixing in the US. (Chiro and massage, nothing invasive) I go home in less than 24 hours. Overall proud, learned a LOT about how to hike, how to eat, and about how I need to change how I travel. The Camino provides. I’m no longer the person I was when I started walking.
