Men and women are both conditioned to view one man, one woman, heterosexual marriage as the norm.

If I hadn't been raised Christian, with hetero romance novels and Disney movies, I'd probably have felt more comfortable with the genuine crushes I had on other girls growing up - which would have led to way better relationships than the ones I did or mostly didn't form with males.

They don't need to be screaming crap at our faces to be conditioning us.
