Hi all, happy Fall Semester to all our uni girlies and sorority pledging sisters in anti-scrotery.
Friendly reminder to re-listen to the classic FDS podcast episode featuring Jana Matthews, explaining why university Greek Life is low-key patriarchal, promotes a culture of sexual assault, date grape, and anti-female solidarity.

Remember ladies, dating while in school (any grade, idc if it's middle or high school, undergrad or grad school) dating as a student is dating on hard more (not to discount dating while widowed or divorced, that's another level of difficulty).
Men (Boys, rather) in frats, or 'fratboys' are just effbois (uckboys) with student loan debt.

In the western world, school is the only time in a man's life he will be constantly surrounded by women (and start to care about it come middle school). Since middle/high/secondary school is when most people have their formative dating years, women feel from a young age that we're replace, because in academia, we are.
Some guys are aware of this and try to ensure they won't be left womanless upon graduation/dropping out and marry their high school/college sweetheart. God forbid they are forced to deal with themselves and grow a personality.
This is precisely why Greek mixers were invented--so money could marry into money without men having to put in effort.
Thanks for sharing this episode. Greek life was big at my college, but I've always been an introverted lone wolf by nature, and at the time, my social life was fantastic, so I wasn't interested in joining a sorority.
Listening to this episode made me realize I missed out on a lot of foolishness and sexual assaults by not being in a sorority!
