I like this alternative to conventional resolutions. Make two lists. On list A, put some things that you want to do more of and that you know will enhance your life. On list B, put some things you'd like to do less of. Throughout the year, try to do more of the things on List A and less of the things on List B. I already know some of the things I'll be putting on my lists. The article below goes into more detail. "Here’s the basic idea. Instead of trying to change overnight on January 1st, you use the whole year to do less of certain things that you know are a net problem for you, and more of certain other things that you know are a net benefit. You’re not attempting to eliminate, or guarantee, any behaviors on your part. You’re only trying to move in the right direction, consistently, with a small handful of habits."
